Special Keys

While the application graph has the focus, the following keys will work. The arrow keys are often used to select a specific point in the graph. When when holding down the shift key, the graph coordinates of the cursor are displayed on the lower-left of the status bar at the bottom of the FIRFilterDesign application.

• Left Arrow - Move the cursor one pixel to the left
• Right Arrow - Move the cursor one pixel to the right
• Down Arrow - Move the cursor one pixel to the down
• Up Arrow - Move the cursor one pixel to the up
• r or R - Refresh the graph. This is often used after a region of the graph has been zoomed in on.
• z or Z - Zoom in on a selected region of the graph. This is usually used of the user has no middle button on their mouse

Some other keys control menus. Click on any top-level menu to see if there is a key shown on the menu.
